The Avery

At the eastern end of Folsom Street, The Avery combines a 618-foot residential tower with two lower podium buildings for Related California and the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation. Its stepped massing shifts between the scale of San Francisco’s skyline and the surrounding neighborhood, bringing market-rate and affordable housing into a single urban composition. Yusef worked on the project as a designer during concept and schematic design.
